Taro Manufacturing Compression Molding
Compression Molding is a type of plastic molding often used to mold Thermoset plastics. Thermoset plastics are materials that form when subjected to heat and pressure. They cannot be remolded or reheated after initial heat-forming or molding and are very durable. They offer molded products and components protection against high operating temperatures, corrosion, UV exposure, and aggressive chemicals, including oils and automotive fluids. These are used within a variety of end-use applications exposed to aggressive environments, such as electrical parts to automotive powertrain and transmission components, to products used in outdoor elements. The finished parts exhibit dimensional and chemical stability against moisture, high heat and operating temperatures, electric voltage, and chemicals or automotive fluids.
